The Brisbane Irish Festival is a long-standing annual event that promotes and celebrates the occasion of St Patrick's Day, Irish culture and its contribution to the state of Queensland. The St Patrick's Day Parade has been held amidst the streets of Brisbane City for more than 30 years, flooding the inner-city district with a colourful convoy of more than 40 floats and displays representing Irish culture that provide free community-oriented entertainment for all ages.
Just line the streets of Brisbane to see the Parade, starting on Alice Street and proceeding along George, Mary and Edward before returning to Alice Street.
