This is a great introduction to collage for kids. With our experienced tutors, they'll learn basic collage techniques to create their own fantastical worlds.

Kids will learn about composition, line, positive and negative space and overlapping shapes. Surrealists rejected conventional aesthetics and were inspired by dreams and the metaphysical world. Surrealist collage artworks distorted familiar images to create impossible scenes using newspapers, magazines and other familiar materials.

Kids will create a collage using quirky found imagery from recycled books and magazines.

  • For children aged 8 to 12 years.

  • Intimate class size: maximum 10 students

  • Level: designed for beginner level students

  • Wear: comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes

  • Bring: yourself - all materials provided
