'There is nothing that will give you more pleasure, more wellbeing than eating beautiful food, being connected to family and friends and enjoying really being physical.... life is precious and living to the full sustains me.' Maggie
Join the Older Women's Network as we discuss all things food and good health with the one and only Maggie Beer.
It's been another busy and strange year for us all and we deserve a sit down and a chat. OWN NSW Ambassador Caroline Baum will be in conversation with Maggie about what her passions are, what sustains her and helps her live life to the full. She may even share what she plans to put on her Christmas table.
Maggie is passionate about her foundation, established in 2014 to improve the food experiences for older Australians, particularly those living within aged care homes. Something we at OWN are also passionate about. What have been the results of the Aged Care Royal Commission into Aged Care in relation to food? Why is food important for the emotional wellbeing of residents?
This is our Christmas gift to all the members and supporters of OWN NSW. We hope you can join us!
