Join Leda van der Post for an immersive exhibition that explores the profound transformation that occurs when change is approached with faith and intuition. Through this series of paintings, Leda invites you to witness the alchemy of personal experience transformed into vibrant visual expressions.
Inspired by the words of John O'Donohue - 'The soul desires expression… in order to feel real, we need to bring that inner invisible world to expression…' - these works bring to life the emotions and energies of change, loss, and new beginnings.
Leda's recent journey has been marked by profound shifts: the loss of loved ones, the end of relationships, health challenges, and leaving her home country to embark on a new chapter. Each painting in this series captures the essence of what has been lost or left behind, using shapes, textures, and colours to preserve the love and beauty inherent in those experiences, thereby expressing change as a catalyst for something new and beautiful.
Her artworks hold space for emotions and memories, offering a tangible form for the intangible experiences of life.
RSVP to join us on opening night (drinks and light refershments provided), or drop in to Gallery 371 between 12 June and 27 June to experience the collection.
