Thanks For Having Me features some of the best established and emerging comedians from around Australia, in this hilarious (and yet somehow still groundbreaking) PoC (People of Colour) comedy showcase.
Hosted and produced by Natali Caro, with acts like Dave Woodhead (Triple J, Black Comedy) Jenny Tian and Suren Jayemanne, over two nights at The Factory Theatre.
With line-up after line-up sticking to the prescribed quotas of tokenism (or not bothering all together), Thanks For Having Me is a refreshing departure from the norms of conventionality. We're sick of being the only person of colour in the room, let alone on the bill. This is the perfect opportunity for you to show off how 'woke' you are to your mates. Or to just kick back with all your unproblematic friends.
From absurdist acts to musical comedy and straight-up stand up, there is something here for everyone!
