The theme of this talk is the ocean. The ocean brings us both joy and calmness and we often turn to it for it's words of wisdom. It's refreshing, beautiful and humbling. It's vast, mysterious and terrifying. Its magnificence has inspired many. We hope this talk makes you look and appreciate the ocean in a new way.
We are joined by Bondi lifeguard of 14 years, Michael Jenkinson. and record breaking swimmer Lauren Tischendorf.
Proceeds from the ticket sales support the print and distribution of The Bondi High and helps to keep it free :)

The Bondi High is a bi-monthly free community publication exploring ways to feel good naturally along side new ideas for living.
Michael Jenkinson
Michael has been a Bondi professional lifeguard for 14 years. Observing the ocean for hours and overseeing countless rescues. Micheal is a keen, accomplished surfer and is passionate about the ocean.
He says 'The ocean has given me so much. I'm deeply indebted to it. After a lifelong relationship, I'm truly grateful and honoured to be able to play a role in the protection of her in the form of a Professional Lifeguard'.
He has also developed an Australian made, reef friendly, vegan, sensitive skin approved, sunscreen.
Lauren Tischendorf
Lauren is a lover of water and the joy, flow and tranquility the ocean provides.
She is the current, reigning female New South Wales 5km age ocean swim champion.
Lauren has recently become the first woman to swim in a solo, single session, 35 km's around Lord Howe Island. Facing countless sharks, two hours of currents, 25 knot winds and 2.5 metre swell!

Bondi Meditation Centre is a unique and special space in the heart of Bondi. It is a meditation centre teaching the effortless and powerful Vedic Meditation technique, but it is also very much a space for our growing community to call their own.
