All plastic ever produced remains in our environment. This exhibition presents a message about the harmful impacts plastics can have on our planet.
Sealife sculptures made from repurposed plastics will be displayed at Brookfield Place Sydney, World Square, and 388 George Street, to represent the dangers of plastics remaining in our environment. Expertly crafted by celebrated Australian artist, Benja Harney, the sculptures span between one to six metres and include a humpback whale, a bottlenose dolphin and a white seahorse.
Plastics represent one of the biggest environmental threats to our planet and as it breaks down, it enters our waterways and ocean, harms marine life and ends up in our food chain. What We Can't Sea has been purposefully curated to ignite conversations and awareness around the single-use plastic conundrum.
