Flexibility and resilience are second nature to the CHSP. But where is the Programme heading, now that the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety has produced its final report, and the Australian Government has responded with its 2021 Budget?
Will we see the CHSP keep bringing people together in new and innovative ways? Or will it disappear into individualised funding and package-based support?
Please join us online to hear the insights of one of Australia's leading aged care researchers, Professor Kathy Eagar of the Australian Health Services Research Institute at the University of Wollongong. Professor Eagar has had a celebrated career investigating both community and residential aged care, and has presented expert testimony to the Royal Commission.
Professor Eagar will give her unique perspective on the aged care system and the government's reforms, as well as what the future could hold for the CHSP. You are invited to share your thoughts and questions with Professor Eagar following her talk. If you have any specific questions you would like to ask now, which can be answered in the webinar, please submit them with your registration.
If you have any questions, please contact Tim Horton, Eastern Sydney CHSP Sector Support and Development Officer, Inner Sydney Voice, at ssdo@innersydneyvoice.org.au, or call 02 9698 7784.
Organised by Eastern Sydney, Macarthur, and Sutherland CHSP Sector Support and Development Projects. With the support of the NSW Sector Support and Development Network.
