Wired'
Deception. Mistrust. Paranoia.
An intriguing and compelling full-length contemporary dance work, based on the true story of an individual who lived in the walls of a house with unexpected consequences for its occupants.
After six months of intense training and rehearsals, 18 elite young dancers from the ACT and surrounding areas will take to Erindale Theatre stage to perform 'Wired' an original full-length contemporary dance work by The Training Ground.
'Wired' follows the award-winning works from The Training Ground, 'Unveiled' (2021), 'Unravel' (2022) and 'Unhinged' (2023) (ArtsACT Canberra Critic Circle Award, four Canberra Area Theatre Awards).
From the creative minds of choreographer's Bonnie Neate and Suzy Piani, 'Wired' is a conceptual take on a true story of an individual who lives in the walls of a house and facilitates a ghost-like experience for its occupants. The 90 minute dance work explores themes of deception, mistrust and paranoia.
'Wired' will feature The Training Ground's quirky and acrobatic brand of contemporary dance, a surprising and unforgettable soundtrack, and an array of inventive animations and short films.
'Wired' is a multi-arts performance which will intrigue and entrance audience members from start to finish.
Two performances only - book quickly to secure your tickets.
