The online workshops from Young-Scientist.in are designed just for you. We provide engaging learning experiences for the kids stuck at home. These online workshops include rich media, interactive simulations, quizzes, worksheets, activities to do at home at more!
This particular workshop explores the science and craft of aeromodelling. We'll study the principles of flight and the generation of lift. There will be an activity to make a glider and the registrants are required to print the template and gather materials. Alternative instructions will be provided for those who're unable to print. The airworthiness of the glider depends on the materials used and quality of craftsmanship. It'll be a fun activity and a great learning experience overall!
Materials:
Corrugated cardboard (stiff) or Foam sheet
Printed glider template (will be provided to registrants)
Scissors or craft knife
Glue Stick or white glue
Large rubber band
Ruler & Pencil
A4 sheets
Workshop Agenda:

DIY Glider Activity - 60 mins
Wrap up - 15 mins
