Oh, come all ye queer pagans! Let's get FESTIVE.
Let us go back to days of yore
When our goddess was nature in the raw
A Pagan celebration there we find
A twelve day feasting known as... Yuletide!
Is it a Happy Holidays, a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Festivus or Solstice? Who the hellmouth cares! We, the queers say ditch that family you were born into… and spend some time with your real family. Prepare yourselves to feast at Darlo's Inaugural Yule Ball.
Off the back of the outrageous Resurrection Ball, we welcome you, our family to a ball to end the year that was - well, simply outrageous!
On Saturday, December 12th we celebrate the Solstice... we're ditching the winter woolies and your mum's favourite pullover and we're trading it in to let your inner queer shine.. this party is for everybody, everybody. Allies, welcome.
Will you don some patent pumps, or paint that face? Wig it up, or dress for sexxess? Tucked or untucked? We are family and we are going to BE who we ARE. Come home, come as you are or whoever the hell you aren't because we want you to be who you wannabe.
For our 2nd edition ball we're serving you an extravaganza of queer and gender euphoric proportions and it's gonna flood your basement. Hosted by the freakshow fantastique Marlena Dali.
Our delicious delights Kilia & Sarabi, Dale Woodbridge-Brown, Sarah Moany, Dyan Tai, and Brendan de la Hay will return to the Grand Ballroom stage to flavour your feast. Joining them, Megana Holiday & Stelly G as Bill & Ben.
DJ's Dunny Minogue, Sveta & Estée Louder will spin your dreidel into the solstice night.
There will be surprises, there will be special performances, there will be a walk-off.
Clothes make a statement but costumes are essential.
