The international platform for the support- exhibition and production of audiovisual dance Fiver promotes choreographic-audiovisual creation by promoting the professionalization of the film dance genre with the organization- since 2012- of an internationally renowned annual festival: FIVER.After the success of FIVER 2019- which celebrated its seventh edition with actions in Logrono and Madrid- its two main venues- this 2020 and for the second consecutive year- the Fiver-Cervantes program is being carried out within the festival- with a Selection of works by Spanish and Latin American creators and curated by Samuel Retortillo- wants to offer a current vision of audiovisual dance through works that have been produced by Fiver or that have been finalists in its international competition.The works of prestigious Spanish film directors of three generations are a perfect selection to show how cinedance has become a language of specific movement- where the creator brings dance to life through the screen. There are five works that can be enjoyed at Fiver-Cervantes 2020: the winner of the special FIVER 2019 award- I Love the Maids for Unreal- by Sofia Castro (Argentina)- the finalist- Babelian Circles- by Ferrand Romeu- and the collaborative works Fiverlabs 2019- Body to Body 2.0- coordinated by Esteban Crucci and Jordi Cortes- Wine or Grape ?- coordinated by Álex Pachon- and Bailaora- by Rubin Stein.This program is expanded with «Confined Bodies»- a series of videos that have been made during confinement- in order to analyze and give value to the creative proposals carried out during this period- by authors of the stature of Elias Aguirre- Richar Mascherin- Asun Noales- Alex Pachon- Jesus Rubio- Antonio Ruz- Guido Sarli and Pablo Venero.This comprehensive program will be presented within the framework of the Baila Espana festival in Bremen- which- in addition to its face-to-face celebration- will have a digital version this year- in which a wide variety of online activities will be offered- which will be accessible to all users of the Instituto Cervantes network of centers.

Cloud Studies is the first solo exhibition in Australia by Forensic Architecture- a research agency comprised of architects- artists- filmmakers- journalists- scientists- lawyers and other specialists who undertake investigations into human rights abuses- state violence and environmental crimes around the world.Using the disciplinary tools of both architecture and forensics- Forensic Architecture have given rise to a new form of investigative practice that seeks to uncover- analyse and present evidence from the crimes of our recent past and consider the convergence of architecture- media- and violence.In Cloud Studies- Forensic Architecture contend with the interconnectedness of global atmospheres. The work brings together eight recent investigations under a single theme- toxic clouds. In a year of bushfire- pandemic and protest- where toxic clouds colonise the air we breathe and shape the way we connect- Cloud Studies presents evidence of perseverance and resistance.The exhibition is extended by related investigations and a publication- Responses to the Cloud- that explores the themes of Cloud Studies from a local context- with new writing by Joel Spring- Saba Bebawi- Jason De Santolo- Tom Melick- Nikki Lam- Thalia Anthony- Micaela Sahhar and curators Stella Rosa McDonald and Eleanor Zeichner.
