Rest assured- no singing will be attempted in Italian. Join Madison on an alacritous journey in story and song from his stage-life to his life-life. You'll hear some immediately recognisable tunes as well as originals. Madison will be accompanied by the lovely- Bev Kennedy on keys.We last saw Madison on stage in the role of Mr. Beauregard in the Australian tour of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. He most recently featured in Guy Sebastian's music video Standing With You. Madison also appeared on stage as the flamboyant Willie in the Australian Premiere of the Off-Broadway sensation The View Upstairs and the lovable fugitive slave Jim in Big River at Hayes Theatre. Other musical theatre credits include Miss Saigon- Sweet Charity- and What the World Needs Now. He also played the Apollo MC in the Australian tour of Buddy: The Musical and Toad in the Australian Shakespeare Company's production of The Wind in the Willows. Madison's feature film credits include The Mystery of Natalie Wood directed by Peter Bogdanovic and the USA docu-drama Your Number's Up: Blood Money. Fiction icon Tom Keneally talks to us about his view of the nature of evil and we explore writing about Auschwitz in fiction after 75 years.Like every year- we look at true crime - the first Australian serial killer with Tanya Bretherton or more recent Sydney crime with Kate McClymont. Top ex-NSW police Nick Kaldas- Gary Jubelin and Deb Wallace talk about their experience of policing. Speakers with personal knowledge tell us about experiencing the prison system and the impact of crime on victims and their families. Double Bridge Farm is a not for profit Indigenous organisation located in Port Macquarie on the Mid North Coast of NSW. The organisation facilitates an Indigenous Women's Sewing Group that comes together weekly to make the products we sell at the markets. The Indigenous Women's Sewing Group is supportive of each other and enhances the importance of health and well being within our community. The ladies in our group research items they would like to make and everyone assists in the process of making a product. The large choices of Aboriginal fabrics inspires the group to create and share their creative knowledge to the broader community.
