Join our new monthly Online Book Club- hosted by our City of Sydney librarians.If you love reading and talking about books- this is a great opportunity to connect with other readers online and find inspiration for other titles to read. Our librarians have chosen a topic or theme for each month with a suggested reading list. Club participants are encouraged to read from the list or find other related titles in the online catalogue. Then join in the discussion and hear about what others have been reading too.  Book Club is held on the last Thursday of the month via Zoom. Before the event- you'll need to install the free Zoom software on your own laptop- computer or device and read a book relating to reading topic for that month. It's free to participate in the Online Book Club- however you'll need to book to join the discussion each month and be a City of Sydney Library member.If you're not already a member- you can apply for a temporary library membership.  See the dates and topics and reading lists selected for each month below and book in to attend one or all of the sessions. Bookings for each monthly event are limited and you need to book each month individually. Once you've booked- you'll receive an email with a link to join the Book Club event on Zoom a few days prior.  Book Club dates and topics 24 September:What are you reading in isolation? Suggested reads: Sydney reads List Book now 29 October: Literary reboots Suggested reads: Literary reboots List Book now 26 November: Comfort reads  Suggested reads: Comfort reads list Book now 28 January: Armchair travel  Suggested reads: Armchair travel list Book now 25 February: Memoirs  Suggested reads: Memoir reading list Book now 25 March: Crime reads Suggested reads: Crime reads list Book now
