The Civic Collection includes civic portraits and artworks- furniture and furnishings- and historical items and memorabilia that reveal the civic history and identity of the City.Civic Curator- Margaret Betteridge- will show you how to find these fascinating items in the catalogue- focusing on a few of the highlights from the collection and how they link to other items in the City Archives.Series: The things we keepJoin our expert archivists- historians and curators as they as they highlight the City's key historic collections and lead you through the new Archives & History Resources catalogue.This series of short talks showcase the types of items in our archives- history and civic collections and shows you how to find them in the catalogue. Each talk will be followed by a Q&A session. Book in for one- or all six!The City Archives is one of the premier archival collections in Australia and a rich resource for exploring Sydney's history. In February 2020- the City released a new catalogue which provides unprecedented access to the archival collection.
