It is held online via Zoom for anyone living in Australia.Attendees will develop skills in self-advocacy- learn how to speak up- build lasting friendships with peers and create stronger connections to the deaf community.Our inspiring mentors are Deaf Children Australia's Youth Support Workers. They have lived experience and are passionate about supporting young people. They have the knowledge and skills to help attendees build self-esteem to help them reach their goals.Both Auslan and spoken English is offered.Get Connected was first held in July. He formed a group in late 2011 called 'Decypher Us'-Although the world of Hip Hop enticed Sam throughout the years- he was always searching for his true calling. A lead singer for his own band!
