Join Brisbane City Council's Environment Centres staff on an engaging guided walk through Toohey Forest Park. Take time for yourself, and slow down. Experience the beautiful bushland reserve at dusk to welcome the twilight. Toohey Forest is home to a diverse range of native plant and animal species, unique for an area with such a close proximity to the city centre. This activity will continue in light rain. Moderate fitness required.
Carparking at this venue is limited, please consider carpooling if possible.
Requirements: For safety reasons, moderate fitness is required. Wear secure, fully enclosed walking shoes, and light-weight long pants and long sleeves are recommended. Bring a small hand-held torch (no headlamps), insect repellent, drinking water, snack, and a raincoat if required. Please do not leave early unless it is an emergency.
