Are you ready for bushfire season? Join us for a free interactive half-day workshop where you'll learn about getting ready for bushfire season, fire ecology and what keeps the bush healthy.
You'll also be doing a walking tour with environmental experts to learn about how bushfires start and grow, and how they impact your local bushland.
Walk away from the workshop with the ability to:
- Observe the health of your local environment
- Identify vegetation types and key habitat
- Understand fuel loads
- Recognise fire history
- Monitor vegetation and wildlife
- Follow regulations in your area.
Catering and supporting materials will be provided for all participants.
