Part mesmerising percussion, part acrobatic feat, The Drum Wheel is an octagonal drumming wonder.
Influenced by his love of Japanese taiko and physical drum forms, and his passion for instrument design and experimentation, Ben Walsh created The Drum Wheel over twenty years ago to become a wonder of musicianship. His unique technique uses a symmetrical approach to bounce your eyes and ears into rapture.
In this 45 minute performance, experience the many rhythms of this master-drummer and discover melodies he creates on instruments he has made himself and performed across the globe as one of Australia's most innovative percussionists.
Recommended for ages 0-112.
