Get your hands dirty and discover the rewarding process of throwing clay in this directed 4-week course.
Guided by our experienced tutor, students will get a fun introduction to wheel work and will learn correct posture, centring, throwing and turning. You'll also learn how to open and finish your forms.
This course is for complete beginners with a focus on process and technique rather than production.
Small class size: maximum 10 students
Level: designed for beginner level students
Wear: comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes (trousers recommended)
Bring: please bring your own apron and towel
All pieces created in the course must be no more than 25 cubic centimetres. Your works will be fired and ready to collect after the course. We're unable to fire pieces made outside of the course.
