Experience Jazz under the stars with Chloe Hui
Chloe Hui, a rising young vocalist, is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Jazz Vocals at the Australian Academy of Music and Performing Arts.
Chloe's musical journey began with eight years of classical vocal training. However, a chance encounter with jazz ignited an insatiable curiosity-one that led her to embark on an unstoppable path into the world of swing, improvisation, and boundless musical expression.
Her artistry has been shaped by invaluable mentorship, including guidance from renowned Japanese jazz musician Charito Vergara. Since 2021, intensive training under acclaimed Chinese vocalist, composer, arranger, and jazz musician Yun Huang.
Chloe's achievements in music:
• In 2019, she earned a perfect score in Rockschool Popular Vocal Certification.
• In 2021, she was invited as a special judge for The Voice of China (Guangzhou Division).
• In 2023, she was personally invited by Hong Kong's legendary music producer Andrew Tuason (noted for his collaborations with Jacky Cheung, Andy Lau, and Alan Tam) to perform as the featured female vocalist with The Andrew Tuason Jazz Big Band at the Guangzhou Jazz Festival.
• In 2024, she took center stage as a guest performer at the Lingnan Jazz Festival opening ceremony and starred as the lead vocalist in the dance production 'A Century of Jazz'.
Performing at Chatswood Live at Night, Chloe brings a voice that fuses classical finesse with the freedom of jazz-delivering elegance, soul, and deep emotional resonance in every note she sings.
