Connect Sydney will be hosting ACWA's mental health first aid 2 day workshop.
Connect Sydney aims to build the capacity of community and not-for-profit organisations through the provision of free skills and governance training.
It's for organisations that support and provide services to children, young people, families, and communities experiencing or at risk of vulnerability within the City of Sydney local government area.
Places are limited to 2 people per organisation and priority is given to sector workers who suit the eligibility criteria (above)
The workshop will teach you how to provide initial support to other adults who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis, using a practical, evidence-based Action Plan.
Participants are expected to attend both sessions. Registration is essential
