Dive into a creative, hands-on community art project that delves into the fascinating world of gut health, the microbiome and the powerful gut-brain connection.
Whether you're a beginner or expert, you'll have the chance to crochet, knit, weave or stitch while gaining insights from leading researchers about the wonders of the gut.
This unique collaboration, led by the Gut Feelings Community Art Project, combines the worlds of art and science to support mental health and wellbeing. The Gut Feelings project invites everyone to contribute handmade textile microbes, gut cells, and intestinal villi to create a stunning, large-scale artwork shown at National Science Week.
All materials and knitting needles will be provided but feel free to bring your own.
