Legendary US rock band Dinosaur Jr. will make their return to Australia &New Zealand for a series of headline shows in February &March 2024.
Last in Australia in 2017, performing shows across the country, with a reputation as one of the formative influences on American alternative rock, Dinosaur Jr. - J Mascis (guitar, vocals, primary songwriter), Lou Barlow (bass, vocals), and Murph (drums) - are ready to bring the classics down under. With over 14 albums to date and more than 30 years performing live on stage as a band, Dinosaur Jr are bringing their best live set to date to Australia &New Zealand.
2023 marks a special year for the band. Celebrating 30 years since the release of their influential 1993 grunge album Where You Been, they headed on tour across the globe, including five upcoming sold-out headline shows at The Garage London as well as multiple sellout dates across the US. The band have also performed festival slots at Spain's Primavera Weekender, Germany's Rolling Stone Beach and Mempho Music Hall in Memphis this year.
