Belco Arts is proud to be celebrating the 2025 NAIDOC week theme The Next Generation: Strength, Vision and Legacy by marking 10 years of NAIDOC in the North.
For a decade, they've been celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture through story, song, art, dance and ceremony with our incredible event partners and the support and enthusiasm of the Canberra community.
Over this time, they've presented performances, workshops and hands on activities by Canberra's finest First Nations artists and cultural leaders. They've watched artists grow and develop their practices and careers and seen thousands of families experience the joy of learning more about the oldest continuing culture on earth.
Take a walk back through some of the special moments captured by our photographers and re-live the magic of performance, creativity and community as we look back over the last decade - and get ready to celebrate the next 10 years!
NAIDOC in the North is Produced by Belco Arts in collaboration with Yerrabi Yurwang Child and Family Aboriginal Corporation, ACT Child and Family Centres, Child Development Service, Kippax Uniting Care and Northside Community Service with support from Icon Water, Ginninderry and ACT Education Directorate.
Opening Night is at 6pm Friday 11 July 2025
