Lanyon Homestead returns as a Floriade satellite site for 2025, offering spring blooms in a heritage setting on Canberra's southern edge. The program features Junior Explorers: Microscopic Wonders, self-guided with a pocket microscope for families to explore Lanyon. A ticketed long lunch on the lawns with National Opera combines live music with seasonal food. Bird watching sessions with Canberra bird experts include talks and short guided walks. The Six Seasons with Tyronne Bell introduces the Ngunnawal seasonal calendar and how to read the landscape. Dark sky stargazing with astronomers from Mount Stromlo Observatory reveals planets and constellations above the homestead.
