Join in a panel discussion featuring Melanie Read of Future Archive and electronic musician Jannah Quill.

Hear from two creators whose innovative practices span the re-appropriation of textile waste or consumer electronic materials into fashion design or electronic music contexts. This panel discussion will zero-in on each artist's creative methodologies.

Featuring live demonstrations, the Q&A will explore the artist's experimental approaches to utilising re-appropriated materials, collaboration with fashion practitioners in the context of music performance, and the role that makerspaces/community arts facilities play in expanding creative professional practices.

Presented by City of Melbourne Libraries and PayPal Fashion Festival.
