Arts on Tour's Green Touring Online Series is a new, free initiative covering a range of topics and perspectives on climate conscious creative practices in the performing arts sector.
This Series includes 5 online sessions, every Monday 2-3pm, from 6 May to 3 June. Each one-hour session includes two, 20-minute presentations from guest speakers on a particular topic, followed by a 20-minute discussion.
While only the second session takes place during Climate Action Week Sydney (Mon 13 May), you are welcome to book for additional sessions via the Arts on Tour website here: https://artsontour.com.au/gree...
The Green Touring Online Series aims to address the urgent need to transition to low emission work practices in how we make and tour work in the performing arts sector. There are many artists and organisations already doing this, and many more who want to. This Series aims to provide a forum for this growing community of climate conscious creatives to come together, make connections, and share case studies, tools and practices - as well as, most importantly, support, inspire and amplify the great work that is happening in this space.
For details on the topics and guest speakers, and to register for the session/s, visit https://artsontour.com.au/gree...
This event is part of Sydney Climate Action Week: a series of community-led events from all aspects of the climate action ecosystem running from the 13-19 May 2024. This event is proudly supported by Greenhouse, City of Sydney, and Boundless.
