Get creative in the Darling Square Makerspace! Students will explore a range of artforms including painting, drawing, printmaking and laser cutting in this fun beginner course.
During the 6-week course students will be introduced to both visual art and digital mediums to create a series of small artworks under the expert guidance of a professional artist.
Suitable for students in year 7 through to year 12, participants will be guided to experiment with a range of techniques and mediums to develop their creative vocabulary and diversify their skill set.
This course is perfect for students who wish to gain a deeper understanding of the visual arts while having fun in a studio environment and encourages learning through creative exploration.
Full instruction will be provided on materials, tools and equipment.
Intimate class size: maximum 10 students
Level: designed for beginner level students
Wear: comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes
Bring: yourself - all materials provided
