Jazz in the Courtyard features big band bang with the musical talent of the future.
Located in the heart of the city's cultural precinct, and featuring the musical talent of the future, Jazz in the Courtyard will entrance lovers of large ensembles and big band bang. The State Theatre Centre Courtyard in Northbridge is a family-friendly, outdoor venue on William Street that features an open-air stage.
With the city's best shopping and food just a stone's throw away, and transport connections all around, why not make a day of it in the city?
From 12pm to 5:45pm, the STC Courtyard will be alive with music - and entry is totally free!
Come and hear the Scotch/PLC Big Band, WAAPA Big Band, WAYJO with Shannon Bennett, WAAPA Women in Jazz and WAAPA Ensemble leave their mark on PIJF.
Sponsored by Lotterywest, City of Perth and ECU/WAAPA, Jazz in the Courtyard will showcase what these emerging musicians of Perth have to offer to the vibrant culture of our city - today and tomorrow.
