Calling all the ladies! It's time to represent!

This year we are proudly holding Ladies Night as part of NSW Women's Week 2022 for the first time. NSW Women's Week is a chance for women and girls across the state to come together to support one another and celebrate the diverse contributions of women from all walks of life,

2022 NSW Women's Week will run from 7 to 13 March and will coincide with International Women's Day on 8 March, and the NSW Women of the Year Awards on 9 March.

Ladies Night is an open style battle designed to uplift and showcase the amazing and growing female dance community in Sydney in a supportive, positive environment.

For the first time, we are also expanding the event to include special conceptual workshops designed by chosen leaders in the community for the purpose of sharing knowledge AND dance practice, and to reflect upon the experience of dancing as women.

Although the competition and workshops are designed for women only, we welcome ALL to come, watch and celebrate and jam on the Ladies Night event day! Come along and support your local female dancers by watching and cheering them on!

LADIES NIGHT WORKSHOP DETAILS

1.5 hour conceptual dance workshops taught by women for women.

#1 - TAKING UP SPACE with Raygun

Thursday 10th March, 8-9:30pm

#2 - PERFORMING AND CREATING CHARACTER with Yuming

Saturday 12th March, 4-5:30pm

At Crossover Dance Studios

#3 - EXPLORING TEXTURE AND FEELING with Arisse

Saturday 12th March, 7:30-9pm
