Acclaimed pianist Luu Hong Quang returns to St James' to perform works by Beethoven, Liszt, Chopin, Debussy, and Prokofiev - the latter's work to be dedicated to the victims of the war in Ukraine.

Quang Hong Luu is a gifted young pianist of his generation in Vietnam and Australia with high level of pianistic professionalism and great musical creativity and remarkable stage presence. Quang released his first CD recording in 2012 and DVD recording in 2017 under Master Performers label, his performance in Australia is also featured by ABC classics. With his awards and contributions to the arts in Vietnam, he was awarded the Labour Medal 3rd class from the Prime Minister of Vietnam. Quang is now in the piano faculty of Academy of Music and performing arts in Sydney.

One of the few venues in Sydney that continued to support musicians during COVID-19 St James' lunchtime concerts are 30 minutes in length, commencing at 1:15pm, and are livestreamed, so patrons have the choice of attending in person or watching online.

A unique bonus is that online ticketholders can watch a recording of the concert as many times as they wish until the Tuesday following the concert.

All ticket proceeds go to the musicians and the cost of livestreaming.
