On Friday 26 August,MCA Late presents Our House, an evening celebrating Australian Ballroom culture and its connections to family, community, identity and Queer stories.
Co-curated by Kelly Dezart-Smith and Akashi Zari-Lee.
Entry is free. Some events ticketed.
5pm-8pm: Ballroom Australia footage screening by Eliam Royalness. Multimedia Studio, Level 3. Free, drop-in.
5.30pm-6.30pm: Introduction to the 5 Elements of Vogue workshop led by Sofina Slé. NCCL, Creative Studio. Free, drop-in.
6pm: Ultra Unreal guided tour, Level 1. Free, drop in.
6pm-8.30pm: Sounds on the Terrace featuring DJ Eroni, singer Savuto, and a pole performance by Basjia Silky.
7pm-8pm: Advanced Vogue workshop led by Kilia Slé. NCCL, Creative Studio. Free, drop-in.
