The Technique Development for Women Course will teach you the technical skills of mountain biking. It will help you to take steps to increase speed and control on flowy trails, as well over rough and rugged terrain.
This course builds upon our Base Skills course by further developing your understanding of basic skills as well as introducing you to new techniques.
This course for women is derived from our Technique Development course and has been adapted to better support women in the sport of mountain biking.
The Mountain Bike Technique Development for Women course is designed for:
Women who have a fair amount of experience riding narrow (<1m wide) trails
More experienced riders who want to consolidate their skills, enabling them to unlock advanced techniques
We focus on:
Session 1
* Body Position
* Rolling Obstacles
* Intro to Rough Terrain
Session 2
* Wheel Lifts
* Bunny Hops
* Getting Over Obstacles
Session 3
* Climbing Technique
Session 4
* Intermediate Cornering
Session 5
* Riding Actively
* Line Choice
