Music & Architecture is a program of carefully curated free concerts that celebrate Sydney's musicians and artists, and public spaces which accentuate some of the city's most architecturally significant office buildings.

Award winning, platinum selling singer songwriter and producer ILAN KIDRON brings GLASSBREAKERS to the laneways of BARRACK PLACE.

Glassbreakers is a tight, energetic powerhouse of party brilliance performing breathtaking new takes on old world classics and wicked twists on the new within the vibrant laneway precinct of the Architectus-designed office tower Barrack Place.

Designed to reflect the heritage laneways and carriageways of the historical warehouse precinct in central Sydney, Barrack Place's exposed-brick and cobblestone laneway connections with playful suspended art installation and range of retail, bar and food offerings provides a chilled setting for the Glassbreakers sassy lunchtime pop-up performance.

KIDRON is joined by some of Sydney's finest musicians, including HARRY SUTHERLAND, PHIL STACK and BEN ADLER, who over the years, have shared the stage with the likes of Grace Jones, Matt Corby, Tim Minchin, Hugh Jackman, Missy Higgins, Charlie XCX, Pharaoh Sanders, Branford Marsalis, Kurt Elling, Nigel Kennedy, James Morrison and Vince Jones. Sound by Andy Jenkinson.

About Glassbreakers

In a crazy hazy dream, you find yourself on a rockin' rollercoaster ride through crowd surfing festivals, pumping London discothèques, thumping Rio de Janiero fiestas, rumbling New York speakeasys, smoky Paris hot clubs, and an Ibiza beach escape all in one. And you can't stop dancing…

This is Glassbreakers, the party band brainchild of award winning, platinum selling singer songwriter and producer, Ilan Kidron. Best known as the lead singer of Australia's ground-breaking dance act The Potbelleez, known for their slew of hit singles including, Are You With Me and Don't Hold Back which went on to become the Jeep anthem.

Having toured extensively over the last decade with RnB legend USHER, performed at some of the biggest music festivals around the world such as Future Music, Homebake, Electric Picnic, Global Gathering, MTV Ibiza, and performed on MTV Awards, A-League and Rugby League Grand Finals, X Factor, and Australian Idol, Ilan has now created his ultimate dream party experience.

As a song writer, he has over one billion combined streams and Billboard Number 1s, having written for Rita Ora, Ricky Martin, Jessica Mauboy, Chance The Rapper, Reik Chris Brown, Sesame Street, Tina Arena, Timmy Trumpet, Kygo, Hayden James, Ricki-Lee Coulter, Eurovision and many others...

Barrack Place is home to an incredible selection of global cuisine including an array of cultures from Japanese inspired salads to ancient Chinese, and modern Australian. Sit back and enjoy specialty brewed coffee while you enjoy this free Rediscover Sydney performance in the laneway.
