Pilates is a physical fitness system developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates, after whom it was named. Pilates called his method "Contrology". It is practiced worldwide, especially in Western countries such as Australia, Canada, the US and the UK.
Please make sure you have a clear area to move. The video can be paused at any time to get a drink of water or to have a breather. Exercise within your physical limits to stay safe and injury free. If during exercising, you become injured or exhibit signs of distress such as chest pains, you should stop exercising immediately and call 000 emergency services for assistance.
