This fascinating course is composed of six studio and three plein air sessions. The aim of the course is to enable students to work up their own drawings en plein air then develop and progress their work onto larger canvasses in the studio.
Tuesdays 1-4pm for 9 weeks [Term 3 starts 17 July]
Sessions 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, & 9 will be held in the studio at Willoughby Arts Centre with sessions 3, 6 and 8 en plein air.
Plein air sessions will start with free form drawing before proceeding to quick watercolour sketches.
In the studio you will work at your own pace to develop your paintings - discussing your ideas, working on individual style and addressing any issues.
Students may work in either acrylic or oil paint or mixed mediums of their choice.
Some experience in painting and drawing is recommended.
