Being outside in nature is great for your mental health and wellbeing. Trees For Life invite you to join us in the Adelaide Park Lands to try bushcare followed by a fun activity in nature. The Park Lands is the perfect place to connect safely with other people, particularly if you're feeling lonely or isolated. Everyone is welcome, with International students and City of Adelaide residents 55+ encouraged to attend. Come along and meet like-minded people and immerse yourself in our beautiful bushland.
Activities following bushcare include: Planting of threatened plant species, nature journaling, bush tucker at the Botanic Gardens, native plant propagation, native seed collection and many more!
Activities held in Tuthangga (Park 17, South Terrace) and Nantu Wama (Park 6, North Adelaide), August to December, during the week and on weekends, from 10 am-1 pm.
No experience needed, simple healthy lunch provided. Safety equipment and tools provided. Registration is essential.
