From Australia's most dynamic small theatre, 5 extraordinary performers rework classic musicals.
From Australia's most dynamic small theatre, five extraordinary performers rework a selection of classic musicals. Rewired: Musicals Reimagined by Hayes is the latest production by Hayes Theatre Co, the award-winning musical theatre and cabaret ensemble.
Toby Francis, Sheridan Harbridge, Trevor Ashley, Virginia Gay, and Ryan Gonzalez, present a fresh take on Oliver!, 42nd Street and other musical favourites.
The show is directed by Richard Carroll, whose much-loved Hayes Theatre Co production of Calamity Jane toured five cities, including a season at Belvoir in 2018.
Hayes has enjoyed widespread critical praise in the seven years since its production of Sweet Charity introduced a vibrant new performing arts company to the Australian cultural landscape.
This new production marks the company's widely anticipated return to the stage after the pandemic forced its doors to close for several months.
The Seymour Centre is a Covid-Safe venue. Find out more.
