The SMG have appeared many times at StreetMarket, in different editions.
This time, at StreetMarket, keyboardist Sam McNally (a veteran of the industry, from stints with Stylus, Tommy Emmanuel and Doug Williams), guitar/vocal 'gun' Eric Rasmussen, bassist/guitarist/vocalist Graham Burns together with ace drummer Dave Plenty will play a mix of Funky/Jazzy instrumentals and well-known soul, rock and pop vocal songs.
ALL of it fun and lively.
The Hamiltons - nothing to do with Hamilton (the musical). Siblings, Emma and Tom are half-Aussie/half-French, incredibly talented, good-looking and they're a joy to watch at their work! They play New Orleans, French songs, their own Bluesy pop material, straight jazz standards, and more. All of it underpinned by Emma's beautiful voice and accordion, and Tom's Dr. John styled piano. Tommy Emmanuel invited them to tour Europe and Russia with them some years ago. They're good - VERY good!
