Get ready to be whisked away to a world of ancient magic, galactic protectors, and mysterious evils as you join Yummie, on his mission to protect the planet!
This fun and fantastical show is the perfect mix of education and entertainment - and a mesmerising adventure filled with laughter and fun for primary school-aged children and their families.
A wonderful way for children to learn about the planet and how they can play their part to protect it.
The all-singing, all-dancing musical show is an eco-charity event and highlights a serious issue: we waste 7.3 million tonnes of food each year, enough to fill 13,000 Olympic sized swimming pools. Food waste costs the Australian economy over $20 billion each year.
About the show
'Yummie', the Guardian of Seedarious - the Hero brings this unique, magical and musical show, to life.
We see a struggling farmer who meets 4 girls seeking the knowledge to take on global issues affecting their town. The girls need help to fend off the evil machinations of 'Ecorrosion', who seeks to unravel the very fabric of reality!
Bringing the beloved characters from the novels to life on stage, this, production encourages children to play their part in tackling issues across wellbeing and sustainability - with song and dance, mime and MAGIC!
Discover the Magic comes to ARA Darling Quarter Theatre for two spectacular shows on Sunday 19 December at 11 am and 2 pm. This performance is a 50-minute production based on 'Discover the Magic' - an illustrated, graphic novel published by Yummy Times.
