Last Minute Productions offers a 6 week ONLINE Protools for beginner & advanced users. This free and online course is hosted by Tim McArtney on Wednesday's at Redfern Community Centre.

Week 3 - What are these free plugins and how to use them!?

• Find out how to use Avid Plugins, Compression, EQ, Reverb, Gate, Limiter, and what they do and can do for you.

• Quick overview of what each type of plugin is

Week 4 - More Shortcuts, More Tricks, More Creativity!

• Learn More shortcuts, How you can make them work for you.

• Learn more Pro Tools tricks like playlisting, multiple editing, grouping, making the sessions active and inactive to record quicker

 Week 5 - Midi master! Become a midi master 

• Learn tricks about midi, and how to use it to your advantage

• Quickly perform, edit and save your midi

Week 6 - Some thoughts on saving files, recovering lost work, and general good computer use with Pro Tools

• Learn how to properly see the back end of Pro Tools, Where presets live, how to organise yourself

• Get out of tricky situations where you think you have lost audio and files

• Naming audio files properly and how to find lost takes
