Join Brisbane City Council's Environment Centre staff for a short, gentle nature walk and learn the basics of the calming, creative practice of Nature Journalling. This activity will take place in and around the picnic area and nearby walking tracks.
Meeting point: Gate to the picnic area at the Trouts Road entrance to Chermside Hills Reserve.
Requirements: Safety requirements apply and are a condition of entry. Please bring your own pencils and sketch pad/notebook and a lightweight chair or outdoor cushion. Wear a broad-brimmed hat, sun-smart clothing, and sturdy, fully-enclosed walking shoes that can get wet and muddy, sun-screen, and insect repellent. Please bring a raincoat if weather requires. Please bring drinking water in a reusable bottle and a litter-free snack or picnic lunch, as there are no food outlets on site.
Note: There are no public toilets at this location. All activities are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
