The Sydney Community College Choir is a dynamic group of singers that has recently expanded due to local acclaim. If you want to join a choir in Sydney then this course is for you.
Led by director Christopher Bowen and supported by an accompanist, the choir has featured in two 'Christmas at the Sydney Town Hall' concerts, as well as a production of Handel's 'Messiah' in conjunction with the Sydney University Graduate Choir.
Inexperienced students are invited to meet with Christopher 30 minutes before the start of the first session so he can get to know you and give any support needed as you settle in.
By the end of this choir course, you should be able to:
Sing choral music with confidence and contribute positively to the choir
Understand how to sing different musical styles in an expressive and meaningful way.
