In 2024, Chapel Hill reached the incredible milestone of 50 vintages.
Those 50 years have been filled with stories of innovation, restoration and the courage and passion of truly dedicated people.
To celebrate they're inviting you to where it all began, the Chapel Hill McLaren Vale estate.
With Chief Winemaker Michael Fragos at the helm along with Senior Viticulturist Rachel Steer, this event promises to be one to remember.
You will be among the first to taste the 2021 Icon wines including the Vicar and our Single Vineyard flagships. In addition, they will introduce you to the newest member of their Icon wine range, the Devil Shiraz. The Devil is destined to become a benchmark for McLaren Vale Shiraz and they are delighted to unveil it for the first time.
Lunch tickets include a masterclass tasting, House Block tour (home of The Devil) and 3-course lunch from the Salopian Inn team. With Michael being who he is, there is sure to be a museum or barrel tasting snuck in there, too.
For those wanting to really mark this occasion in style, they're opening up their guest suites at The Retreat just for this event. Choose one night or two to indulge in a spectacular weekend and wake up amongst the vines, but hurry, only 7 accommodation packages are available.
