The physical and emotional benefits of choral singing have been widely documented in recent decades: from lowering stress levels to strengthening your immune system. How can you reap the health benefits of singing in your life?
In this interactive webinar, singer and choral director Alex Siegers will lead you through the ways in which singing can improve your emotional, physical and mental wellbeing, and try out some ways you can add singing to your weekly schedule.
Alex has amassed considerable experience as an educator and performer across jazz, sacred, classical and pop genres with leading ensembles throughout Australia. In 2017 she graduated from a Bachelor of Music and Arts, majoring in Jazz Performance, Asian Studies and Linguistics at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Since relocating to Sydney in 2012, Alex has been a full time chorister with the Choir of St. James King Street.
Please note: The webinar will be recorded and housed following the live event on the MPU website. By registering, participants agree to their image being captured and used in this way. Participants are welcome to turn cameras off.
