The Salons is a newly created boutique festival designed to connect artists and community.
Featuring established and emerging artists in a series of engaging events for the curious and enquiring of all ages, The Salons are popping up for a 2 week season at The Chrissie Cotter Gallery in Camperdown.
The program of free & ticketed events covers a broad spectrum of interests and includes visual arts, performance, dance, synaesthesia sessions, children's storytelling, with workshops in poetry & meditation, hand-cut collage, and singing in harmony.
No experience or training is necessary to enjoy The Salons, just your curiosity and enthusiasm. We welcome families with kids of all ages into our singing, storytelling and hand-cut collage workshops in celebration of family love on the Mother's Day weekend.
The Salons is proud to support the work and play of Carol Archer, Jac Beth, Renee Boissett, Daragh Byrne, Angie Contini, Anna Couani, Thea Elder, Stephanie Di Giacomo, Geneva Gilmour, Christiaan Hoppenbrouwers, Leura James, Sam James, Kit Kelen, Anastasia Keros, Recycletastic, The Third Voice, Alana Tracey and Kell Wallwork.
