Naturalist Diego Bonetto will introduce you to the wonders and possibilities of wild edibles everywhere you walk.
To some of us weeds such as plantain, dandelion, chickweed and sow-thistle are a nuisance, to others they are a childhood game, a cultural connection or a seasonal treat.
Learn about the most common edible weed species. They may be growing in your garden or along the green belts and parks in your neighbourhood.
Find out how these weeds have been used for food, craft and natural remedies. Discover ways to identify the urban 'wild' and foster rewarding experiences with nature.
This is a free online event however bookings are essential.
Please read your booking confirmation carefully for instructions on how to join the event on Zoom. You'll need to install the free Zoom software on your own or computer or device to participate.
