Véronique Serret is a violinist, vocalist and composer effortlessly bridging the divide between classical and contemporary art forms.

Veronique writes 'Prima Volta began in 2015 as part of a residency at Campbelltown Arts Centre. I had finally received my long awaited 6 string violin custom built by luthier Paul Davies. My arsenal of pedals ready: looper, chorus, delay, space reverb and of course distortion. As part of the residency, we announced an international 'Call for Scores' encouraging an avalanche of new works for the 6-string violin and electronics. I selected the following 4 works which over time I have reworked and with the permission of the composers organically made my own creating my debut 6 string violin album Prima Volta.'
