Join Libraries ACT and Capital Region Community Services on Friday 30th August for an afternoon celebrating acceptance and promoting our community through positive visibility.
We have a range of activities happening over the afternoon and early evening - come for one or all of them! All events are FREE
2 pm Meet at Belconnen Youth Centre (BYC) to get dressed up and made up - bring your own fabulous outfits or use some accessories supplied by BYC. BYC will also supply make up.
3 pm Walk with your new and old friends from the Youth Centre down to Belconnen Library.
3:15 pm to 4:30 pm Watch local drag performers on the forecourt outside the library before coming inside to listen to local queer authors talk about their writing. There will also be snacks!
4:30 pm to 7:30 pm Return to BYC for food and a disco!
